James L. McCabe, Ph.D.

President and Founder

Jim McCabe

James L. McCabe, Ph.D. serves as President and is a member of the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors. Jim is responsible for investment strategy and research, portfolio structuring, asset allocation, and manager selection. 

After graduating with distinction in Economics from Colby College in 1965 and earning his Doctorate in Economics in 1970 from the University of Pennsylvania, Jim served as International Economist for the U.S. Department of State and for The World Bank. He subsequently joined the economics faculty at Yale University as assistant director of the Yale Economic Growth Center, authoring articles on international finance, the economics of population growth, and regional labor force distribution. 

Jim served as Senior International Economist for Chase Econometric Associates, then a subsidiary of Chase Manhattan Bank, providing economic analysis and forecasting services to corporations and financial institutions worldwide.

Jim founded McCabe Capital Managers, Ltd. in 1980 to manage the assets of a small group of high net worth clients. The firm joined Drexel Morgan & Co. in 2010 as a subsidiary and changed its name to Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Inc. in 2012.

Paul S. Rovner, CPA

Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Paul Rovner, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for the day-to-day strategic and financial operations of Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers and serves on its Board of Directors.

Paul also serves as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of The Haverford Trust Company, an affiliated company and a subsidiary of Drexel Morgan & Co. and is a member of the Executive Committee determining the firm’s strategic direction. Prior to joining The Haverford Trust Company in 2001, Paul spent more than five years at the Philadelphia office of Deloitte & Touche, serving as Audit Manager, responsible for external financial audits including: engagement planning and execution, financial reporting, and client service.

Paul is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Northern Home for Children. 

Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

Erich M. Hickey, CFA

Vice President, Chief Investment Strategist

Erich Hickey, Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist, designs and directs asset management strategies and manages client portfolios and relationships. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Erich spent fifteen years in the investment management industry, working primarily with wealthy families and family offices. Most recently, Erich was President and Co-Founder of Spouting Rock Wealth Advisors, a Philadelphia based consulting firm serving single family offices. Erich was a member of the Investment Committee and was the lead portfolio manager for family office and alternative portfolios. Prior to Spouting Rock, Erich was the Director of Investments at a single family office. Erich and his team managed the liquid investments for the family and advised the related operating companies on financing, hedging and business transactions. Erich began his career as a fixed income portfolio manager and trader at The Glenmede Trust Company. 

Erich earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Davidson College. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® professional designation.

Lynn S. Erskine, CFA

Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager

Lynn Erskine, Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, manages existing and new client portfolios and relationships, offering guidance on investment policy and asset allocation. She serves on the firm's Investment Committee.
 

Prior to joining Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Lynn spent more than twenty years in the investment management industry. Her experience includes roles with two boutique investment management firms, as well as in the Private Client Group at Janney Montgomery Scott. Previously, Lynn was a Principal at Rorer Asset Management, which later formed Managers Investment Group, where she served as Director of Asset Allocation. Lynn began her career at Brundage, Story and Rose (later Bessemer Trust) in New York. 

Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and a Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® professional designation.

Adrea Scaramucci

Chief Compliance Officer

Adrea Scaramucci, Chief Compliance Officer, is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating internal operational and external risks to ensure the Firm’s adherence to appropriate regulatory and industry requirements. In this capacity, Adrea examines business operations, develops and enforces compliance policies and procedures, and conducts ongoing compliance reviews for the development of adequate internal controls. 

As a member of the firm’s Investment Committee, Adrea is involved in the due diligence process for reviewing the strength and stability of existing outside managers as well as prospective managers.

Adrea joined Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers in 2005 after serving as Vice President of Compliance for Morgan Stanley Investment Management where she spent 11 years.

Adrea earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Rosemont College.

Robin H. Coroniti

Director of Operations

Robin Coroniti, Director of Operations, is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the firm. She also assists in the ongoing maintenance of existing client relationships and establishing new accounts to ensure client satisfaction across all levels of service.

Prior to joining Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Robin spent twenty-four years with Morgan Stanley Investment Management where she served in multiple roles including head of Investor Services for AIP, a fixed income trader, and derivatives specialist. She began her career as a broker's assistant with Kidder Peabody. 

Robin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Wilson College.

Mary J. Askew, AIF

Client Service Manager

Mary Askew, Client Service Manager, is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of existing and new client relationships including new account setup, daily communications with clients, coordination of outside custodians and investment managers, subscription and redemption documents, as well as other traditional client service functions. Mary has been with Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers since 1997.

Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages (French and German) and Political Science from the London South Bank University. She holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designation.

Terrance Rebello, CFA

Portfolio Management Analyst

Terrance Rebello, Portfolio Management Analyst, performs both qualitative and quantitative analysis, reviews asset allocations as they pertain to client mandates, evaluates outside managers, makes investment recommendations, and monitors the performance of client portfolios. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. 

Prior to joining DMCA, Terrance was employed at Morgan Stanley Investment Management for five years where his responsibilities included investment analysis, as well as performance analysis and reporting.

Terrance earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® professional designation and also holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement® professional designation.

Joseph Zaccardi, CFA

Research Analyst

Joseph Zaccardi, Research Analyst, performs initial and ongoing due diligence on outside managers, supports the monitoring, analysis and research of hedge funds, and makes investment recommendations. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee. 

Prior to joining Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Joe was a Research Analyst with Persimmon Capital Management where he served on the investment committee and performed research, analysis, and due diligence for Persimmon’s mutual fund, hedge fund of funds, and separate account products. Prior to Persimmon Capital, Joe worked at Eaton Corporation where he was a Credit Analyst and Deduction Analyst.

Joe earned his Master of Science in Finance from Drexel University and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® professional designation.

Casey Dellaquila

Portfolio Administrator

Casey Dellaquila, Portfolio Administrator, is responsible for ongoing support of both client service and back office operations.

Casey also serves as an Investment Officer for Drexel Morgan & Co., the parent company of Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers. Prior to joining Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers, Casey was a Trust Operations Associate with The Haverford Trust Company, an affiliated company and subsidiary of Drexel Morgan & Co. 

Casey earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University.
